Directions
Expectation: Kindergarten students are to complete 60 minutes of non-traditional instruction daily.
1. Reading (10 Minutes/Day)
2. Writing (10 Minutes/Day)
3. Math (10 Minutes/Day)
4. Art (10 Minutes/Day)
5. Essential Areas (10 Minutes/Day)
6. Life Skills (10 Minutes/Day)
Students receiving Title I services should complete 10 minutes of Title I instruction on Mrs. Clark's website, in addition to their 60 minutes of classroom instruction. If needed, Title students may opt out of the life skills practice.
Students receiving speech services should complete 10 minutes of speech instruction on Mrs. Kibler's website, in addition to their 60 minutes of classroom instruction. If needed, speech students may opt out of the life skills practice.
All non-traditional instruction activities will be provided on this website under the "NON-TRADITIONAL INSTRUCTION" tab.
While some activities are printable, if you do not have access to a printer, you can simply write your answers on a blank piece of paper.
Each week you should email Mrs. Elam 1 picture of your child with their completed work.

Non-traditional Instruction this week will consist of some activities that your child MUST complete, along with choice time like your child did last week. However, you and your child will get to choose what day works best for you for certain activities. The activities that your child MUST complete are listed below:
Reading: -Magic E: long u sort (there are many downloadable pages under the Reading tab. If you don't have a printer, please just write the work on a piece of paper)
-Reading A-Z (students need to be at a level C by the end of Kindergarten so start challenging your kids to move up levels)
- Hand2Mind Week #4 Lessons
-Storytime from Space
Writing: -Use the provided paper under the writing tab to write a letter to a healthcare hero! The address to send the letter is provided in the writing tab as well!
Math: -Chapter 18 Math Packet (Math tab)
-The picture sent to Mrs. Elam this week can be a picture of your choice!
